Brew Casa's founder, Rob Tuttle, is driven by his experience and passion for the coffee industry. Since 2005 Rob has been involved with the United States Barista Championship and the Specialty Coffee Association of America. In 2009 he became one of seven United States based World Barista Championship Certified Judge's and served as a judge at the WBC 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also been invited to Judge Internationally in Guatemala and El Salvador. In 2010 he served as the Head Judge for the finals round of the Guatemala Barista Championship. Currently Rob is the Co-Chair of the USBC and is a Certified Lead Instructor for the SCAA.

Helping coffee shops get their start and training Barista's is where it begins. Rob has traveled to multiple States and to South America teaching and training the coffee craft. Young or old, from experienced to amateur, he is able to help them improve their coffee skills.

Manual Brewing Class for Coffee Professionals

You will receive 4 hours with our industry expert. Learn techniques, the why behind the what, and best practices. Brewing devices covered will be Chemex, cone pour overs, Aeropress, and Clever Dripper. This is a hands on class.

Manual Brewing Class for Coffee Enthusiast

You will receive 1 1/2 hours with our industry expert. Learn the basic how to of brewing better coffee at home. Choose from 2 of the following devices: Chemex, cone pour overs, Aeropress, and Clever Dripper. This is a hands on class.

Espresso Training

This class is designed to give you a better understanding of espresso. This class will cover the basics of pulling great shots of espresso and will give you the techniques to better your espresso craft. Topics covered are coffee introduction, espresso basics, espresso equipment, espresso mechanics, and espresso menu. This class takes approximately 6 hours. This is a hands on class.

Milk Texturing and Latte Art

This class is designed to give you a better understanding of milk. Learn milk chemistry, milk alternatives, the milk based menu, and latte art introduction. This is a hands on 4 hour class.

One Day Barista Class

This class is designed to be an introduction to espresso and milk texturing. The class is kept to a basic level but will also introduce students to some tricks of the trade. Our trainers will go over the finer points of pulling great shots of espresso as well as menus and drink building. The topics we cover are Coffee introduction, Espresso Basics, Milk Texturing Basics, Drink Building and customer service. Our trainer is one of the few World Barista Championship judges in the United States as well as a head judge for the United States Barista Championships (USBC).
